TARO NASU is pleased to announce a solo exhibition by Ian Wilson, starting from June 30, 2017.

Ian Wilson
Born in South Africa 1940, moved to the United States in 1960. Exhibited internationally since the mid-1960s, including Documenta 7 (Kassel, Germany) in1982, Centre Pompidou(Paris) in 1981and 2005, Yokohama Triennale (Yokohama, JP) in 2004, Sapporo International Art Festival(Sapporo, JP) in 2014, and more.

Wilson is known as the artist taking visual abstraction into the invisible abstraction of language, along with a number of other artists such as Lawrence Wiener, Joseph Kosuth, Robert Barry and Art & Language. The exhibition is mainly consists of various framed certificates of the representative series ”Discussions”(1968-), as well as two installation works ”Circle on the floor “(1968),”Circle on the wall”(1968).
