The Jury for the 9th Nam June Paik Prize, organized by Nam June Paik Art Center, has selected Ryoji Ikeda as the recipient of the Prize.

Jury Chair John G. Hanhardt, former Senior Curator at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, described Ikeda as “Ryoji Ikeda, like Nam June Paik, is a true visionary who welcomes the mystery and adventure of new art forms”

Ryoji Ikeda
Born in 1966 in Gifu, Japan. Lives and works in Paris and Kyoto.
